Eco treehuts · Busay hillside — above Cebu City
Live among the trees of Busay: eco A-frame treehuts, a saltwater infinity pool with a skyline view, and breakfast brought to your door — yet only fifteen minutes from IT Park.
The Big Idea
A retreat for tired spirits — where the city ends and the forest begins.
The Secret Hut is the only place this close to Cebu City where you can genuinely live among the trees — fans, no aircon, birdsong and forest bathing — and still be a short drive from the heart of the metro. Tucked inside the gated Jardin de Busay estate, after Marco Polo and before Chateau de Busay, it’s an eco hideaway built for one thing: the reset.
The Experience

Live among the trees
Timber A-frame treehuts tucked into the hillside canopy — breezy, screened, lit by lamps and birdsong. No air-conditioning on purpose: this high in Busay the forest does the cooling, and the point is to slow down, not plug in.

Swim above the skyline
The heart of the property: a roofed saltwater infinity lap pool that seems to spill into the valley, with the Cebu skyline laid out below. Quietest at golden hour; swim in any weather under the canopy roof.

Breakfast to your door
Order the night before and breakfast arrives at your hut in the morning. Walk the garden nooks down to orchid and cacao plantations, sit by the fire pit after dark, and let the city feel very far away — though IT Park is only fifteen minutes down the hill.

“The room was great, especially the big and very comfortable bed. The pool was also really nice, especially because of the amazing view. Overall, I had an amazing experience here.”
“Quiet, cozy, and great place. We had the whole saltwater pool to ourselves, and they even set up an anniversary dinner. Response time from host and co-host was amazing. Will visit again.”
“Safe, clean and quiet! It was so much better being up the mountains rather than the city streets. The view is absolutely stunning, and the price is very reasonable.”
“A rare and perfect balance — the ultimate escape from the relentless noise of the city. We left feeling refreshed and are already looking at our calendars to plan the next visit.”
“The place is relaxing and exactly like the photos. Loved the calm vibe, beautiful scenery, and that it's pet-friendly. The staff were very kind and accommodating.”

Good to know
We’d rather be honest up front than have you surprised. This is an eco retreat, not a resort — and that’s exactly the point.
Rustic & eco, on purpose
Huts are simple and fan-cooled — come for the forest reset, not hotel polish. The pool and the view are the luxury here.
Many stairs
Paths and steps are carved into the hillside, beautiful but steep. Not suited to small children, seniors or guests with limited mobility.
It's a forest
Bugs and the occasional ant come with the canopy. Screen doors help; bring repellent and lean into the nature.
Pets welcome
Bring the dog — pets are allowed across the huts.
A calm, residential hillside
No smoking or vaping in the huts (there's a street-level area), and music down after 10pm so the village stays peaceful.
Always growing
The cluster keeps adding huts and refreshing the grounds — check the live Airbnb listing for the newest huts and current photos.

Part of the Madame G collection
The Secret Hut is hosted by Teza’s Madame G — the same warm, well-run hospitality behind the beachfront resort, the bistro and the French villa next door.
