Why the deep south
Romance here is quiet, not staged.
Travel writers describe Oslob and the south as a slower, quieter alternative to busier parts of Cebu, and Santander, at the very tip of the island, is quieter still. With just ten cabanas, the resort does not feel crowded, the sea is steps from your terrace, and in the early morning green sea turtles sometimes graze the seagrass just off the shore. It is a honeymoon for couples who would rather swim, eat well and watch the light change than keep a schedule.

The Premium Cabana is the one to book when the bath is part of the holiday: 24 sqm, a king bed, a separate living area, a private hot bathtub and a balcony bar facing the sea. It is on the second floor, reached by stairs, with no lift. The Deluxe Economy cabana is a compact 18 sqm room with a queen bed and a sea or garden view, steps from the shore, and a simpler choice for a short stay.
If you would like complete privacy, the Beach Villa can be booked as one unit: four bedrooms with four en-suite bathrooms and a powder room, a pool, a full kitchen with a grill and a terrace facing the water. It is built for groups, so it suits a honeymoon best when you travel with family or friends, or want a very large space. Villa services are on request and confirmed personally.

Private boat trips
For Beach Villa guests, a private boat trip can be arranged on request. The Sumilon sandbar is a boat ride of roughly half an hour from Oslob, according to tour listings, with white sand and clear shallows.
In-villa massage
Spa massages can be given in the Beach Villa on request. The resort spa works by request too, with appointments confirmed within 24 hours. Our spa page lists the menu.

Things to do together
Slow days, with a few good adventures.
The Oslob whale sharks are the headline: about fifteen minutes up the coast, best at dawn when the water is calmer and the crowds are smaller. Follow the handlers, keep your distance and do not touch the animals. Our Oslob guide explains the rules.
Tumalog Falls, about twenty-five minutes from the resort, is a misted cascade you reach by road and a short walk. Kayaks, canoes and snorkelling gear wait at the beach gate, and the reef starts where the sand ends. Day trips and transfers are arranged on request and quoted separately.
Getting here takes a little effort, which is part of why it stays quiet. Cebu City to Oslob is roughly 130 km and travel guides usually say three to five hours by road, depending on traffic. If you are coming from Dumaguete, the ferry from Sibulan to Liloan takes around half an hour. We can arrange a transfer on request. The drier months, roughly November to May, tend to bring calmer seas for boat days, though conditions change daily, so ask us before you plan a crossing.
Eat well and slowly. G Bistro serves breakfast to dinner on the beachfront, and you do not need to book a table to watch the evening light from the terrace. Many couples find that two quiet days bracketing one big outing is the right rhythm.

Four unhurried days.
Day one
Arrive and settle in. A swim, a long bath if you have the Premium Cabana, sunset by the pool and dinner at G Bistro.
Day two
Whale sharks at dawn, then a late breakfast back at the resort. Afternoon on the beach or a massage, and an early dinner.
Day three
A boat to the Sumilon sandbar in the morning, lunch, then an easy afternoon. Tumalog Falls instead, if you prefer a little jungle.
Day four (optional)
Kayaks and snorkelling at the gate, a slow breakfast and a last sunset before you leave.
